Hi, I’m Deb Hanson, founder of Potential to SOAR, and I am thrilled you have found us!
I was born and raised in rural Kansas. I am proud to now be raising a family of my own in the same area I grew up. I have always had a passion for helping children grow and develop. Through my work as a pediatric occupational therapist, I have the privilege of supporting children's development in a school-based setting. However, it saddens me to see the disconnect between this traditional therapy model and what is truly best and most effective for children.

I have a passion for supporting families in an innovative way. I believe geographics should not limit the quality of care. I have extensive knowledge as an occupational therapist, but also as a mom of two preemies. I understand the need to seek connection and support in the best way possible for my child and family. I understand the need to advocate for the best quality of care, even if that means seeking someone outside my geographic area. This is why I am extending my reach to break the barriers and provide quality service.

At Potential to SOAR, we provide Occupational Therapy services for children ages 0-21. We believe that empowering families through personalized support and recommendations will best equip a child at home, school, and within their community. Potential to SOAR offers a comprehensive program for collaboration between families, childcare providers, school teams, and more. We will work together to achieve your specific goals, while having easy access to the support you desire.
